Shifted 3 very heavy pallets from friends house up hill to garden, with help of very kind husband!! Saw more pallets already there- a mini-community beginning. let the compost making begin!

The shed may be small bit it is impressive! we now have hooks for hanging up tools – everything in its place.  even have shelves…..for jars of nails ….and things….. Position is ideal, under the trees by the allotment. Next – compost bins!  More tea 🙂

Read a book today about apple tree growing – Didn’t know ‘Orchardeering’ was a word! Also didn’t know that the science of apple growing is called ‘pomology’. Brilliant!  Must be very careful about pruning these trees. Takes 3 years to do it properly. get it wrong and we could prevent fruiting for at least 3 […]
