Bean Pole Forage
ON a cold stormy day in February half term, we d
ecided to keep warm by going on a forage for new growth hazel sticks to be used as bean poles.
First … find a suitable tree in the far-off hedges…straighter the better
The carry them back across a windy field…. easier said than done!Ok Boys, the kettle IS on!
